Background

Mobile gaming marketers often invest their budgets in familiar countries—places that you hear about every day, like the U.S. or the U.K. But what about the rest of the world? For those in the mobile gaming business, it's important to step outside the comfort zone and look for high-value users in unexpected places. This was the message behind Moloco's campaign called Beyond Borders.

Impact

We helped the team at Moloco structure the insights and bring them to life in a visual, interactive story. And we had lots of fun doing it! The piece starts out with simple, easy-to-grasp graphics and slowly guides the readers towards more sophisticated interactive visualisations and maps. This report was Moloco's most data-heavy project so far and it turned out beautifully. So much so that we translated it to Chinese, Japanese and Korean. We also designed additional assets for the communications campaign: social media and PR posts, a slide deck and infographic summaries for key genres.
